What is Embargo?
Embargo is a privately run, in-house PR and communications team.
We exist to support a small group of UK-based companies with their media relations, from press releases and expert commentary to reactive statements and journalist enquiries. We specialise in creating a clear, reliable link between the businesses we represent and the journalists covering their sectors.
Unlike traditional PR agencies, Embargo does partner with public clients. We work solely for the brands owned by our parent group. This allows us to operate as an extension of each business rather than an outsourced agency. We have direct access to data, decision-makers and subject-matter experts, enabling us to provide accurate information quickly and without unnecessary layers.
For journalists, this approach offers a single, accountable point of contact and responses grounded in real operational insight. For our brands, it ensures consistent, transparent communication and long-term media relationships built on trust.
